On September 21, 2013 our first Kate's Krew 5K Rainbow Run was held at Peak View Elementary School.   Over 150 runners/walkers participated in our colorful event.  With the help of our generous sponsors and race participants Kate's Krew was able to provide two scholarships to local high school seniors.  The  scholarships were awarded to East Rock High students Stacey Bailey and Kaylin Breeden.  Stacey is currently a JMU freshman, and Kaylin is a freshman at Blue Ridge Community College. 

 

Our goal is to provide more scholarships in Kate's memory this year.
